About the Flavor
We were heavily inspired by the Parker House Roll with Salted Buttercream flavor from Salt and Straw when dreaming up this flavor. While dinner rolls are more common on the dinner table during the holidays, we thought it might be nice to recreate the iconic biscuit you'd take friends and family from out of town to try when they visit you in the NC: the BoBerry Biscuit. Our friends at Bitten Bakery cooked up some lemon zesty biscuits for us to use in both our base and in crunchy crouton form (yes, we love a good crouton). We created a bright blueberry buttercream for complement. We think it tastes kinda like spreading tart blueberry jam and salty butter on your biscuit at the same time. What could be better?
